The ACMA Theatre Company opens its 2018-19 season with The Laramie Project, a play about the murder of gay college student Matthew Shepard in Oct. 1998 and the town torn apart by the media’s harsh coverage. A deep and emotional nontraditional play, it explores the depths to which humanity can sink—and the tolerance, understanding, and compassion that can rise out of it.

Due to the mature nature of this play, we suggest that audience members under age 14 have parent supervision.

The Matthew Shepard Foundation

The MSF Heart Challenge helps honor the 20th anniversary of Matthew Shepard’s death and the founding of the Matthew Shepard Foundation.

We invite you to take a heart cutout, write something kind on it, and place it on our wall in the PAC lobby. Help spread love, erase hate, and remind other LGBTQ+ people that they have allies by challenging someone you know to print this heart, write a message, and place it on a fence anywhere.

Tag your photos or videos on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, or Instagram with #MSF20 #acmatheatreco.

Learn more at www.matthewshepard.org/Heart-Challenge.

The ACMA Theatre Company will be donating all proceeds from our performances to the Matthew Shepard Foundation.
