The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940
Written by John Bishop, Directed by Shaun Hennessy March 3, 4, 5, 10, 11 & 12 - Dessert seating at 6:00pm, Show at 7:00pm Matinees March 5 & 12 at 2:00pm (no dessert) The creative team responsible for a recent Broadway Flop (in which three chorus girls were murdered by the mysterious "Stage Door Slasher") assemble for a backer's audition of their new show at the Westchester estate of a wealthy "angel." The house is replete with siding panels, secret passageways and a German maid who is apparently four different people- all of which figure diabolically in the comic mayhem that follows when the infamous "slasher" makes his reappearance and strikes again. Did Someone Say Dessert? Why yes! We're presenting this show in the style of a Dinner Theater, but we're going straight to dessert! Purchase a "Dessert + Show" ticket and you will be helping to support our newly-formed Thespian Troupe while enjoying a fine dining atmosphere on ACMA's main stage. Doors open at 6:00pm and students will be serving a selection of cheesecakes, coffee, and tea beginning at 6:15 pm. These special tickets require advance purchase. Proceeds will be used to fund student travel to the Oregon State Thespian Festival in April. ADULT TICKET PRICES $20 for Dessert + Show $10 for Show Only STUDENT TICKET PRICES $15 for Dessert + Show $5 for Show Only |
